Moving to new apt. Decorating suggestions/tips? - bathroom decorating tips

I would prefer a law apartment has a bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom. Does anyone have any suggestions or decorating tips? I want the space for modern life:) I love the colors, the cool and unusual things, artifacts, etc., and I love the pictures!

I just want to show niceee. Like when you walk in, I think, I spent my time you warm and comfortable and cold.
